Calling all 10-25-year-olds to join us for our Youth Art Award workshop.

This year the Central Highlands Regional Council is excited to launch our Inaugural Youth Awards and exhibition for our budding artists in the Central Highlands region to be held in the Emerald Art Gallery.

Loretta Horn will be running art mentor sessions on Sunday afternoons for 4 weeks starting on 15 may, where you can come in and create your masterpiece to enter the exhibition.

choose from pencil, pastel, watercolor, acrylic or oil painting or a combination of both, pallet knife the options are endless.

We will provide everything including the art equipment.

There are 3 age groups (Junior 10-13 / Juvenile 14-17 / Youth 18-25) with 3 categories to enter for each age group. There are prizes for first and second for each category and a People’s Choice prize which will be open to the public to vote on, with a total Prize Pool of nearly $1500.

If this event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, we will refund participants in full. If you are unable to attend, we require 24 hours’ notice to issue or reallocate your ticket(s) into another workshop.
