There is so much more than meets the eye when it comes to all things glass! You are currently reading this through glass – how crazy is that? For centuries, glass has been such an important and prevalent aspect of our daily lives. We use it for building, to hold our drinks, for eyeglasses, our phones, and so much more! It is so common to us, we often forget just how fascinating and wonderful it really is.

Join us in exploring the wonders of the properties of glass and how it’s used in the world. Sci-artist and local glassblower, Michelle Gray, will be featuring in this program. For two fun-filled weeks, she will introduce us to glassblowing and share her years of refined glass-making skills and knowledge. Along with Michelle, Made by Choni will run a session showing us how to work with liquid glass – resin! Let’s explore the science of glass, beyond the windowpane.
