Join Amanda for a beginner-friendly pottery workshop and learn how to make your own ceramic wares.

Using slab building and pinching methods, you’ll create two ceramic pieces with your choice of botanical impressions to display either as wall art or transform into dishes by pinching up the outer edge.

This workshop is all about playing with clay and getting your hands dirty so if you want to do your own thing and just embrace the experience of something new, you can do that too!

Pieces will be glazed and twice fired before being returned to the Exploratorium for pick up at a later date.

Please wear clothes that can get a little dirty. If you have any textured items you would like to incorporate into your creations (think flowering herbs, ferns, sage, or doilies) bring them along!

The workshop will run for 2 hours
Saturday 27 August 10am – 12pm
$66 per person
