In this exciting program designed for 3-4 year old children, little explorers will embark on a journey into the fascinating world of bees, hives, and honey. Over four engaging weeks, our young learners will discover the magic of these tiny creatures through interactive activities and hands-on experiences.

Each week will focus on a different aspect of bees and honey:

Week 1: Meet the Bees

  • Children will learn about the life cycle of bees, how they make honey, and the importance of bees in our environment.
  • Activities include role-playing as bees, exploring a pretend hive, and observing bees in action.

Week 2: Inside the Hive

  • Dive deeper into the hive to explore where bees live and work.
  • Kids will create their own mini hives, complete with bee figures, and learn how bees communicate through dance.

Week 3: Honey Harvest

  • Discover the sweet reward of all that bee buzz—honey!
  • Children will participate in honey tastings, make honey-themed snacks, and learn about the process of harvesting honey from hives.

Week 4: Beekeepers in Training

  • Wrap up with a day of becoming honorary beekeepers!
  • Kids will dress up in beekeeping gear, learn about the tools beekeepers use, and engage in fun games that reinforce what they’ve learned about bees.

Throughout the program, emphasis will be placed on fostering curiosity, building early science, literary and numeracy skills, and preparing children for school readiness. By encouraging exploration in a safe and supportive environment, our aim is to nurture confidence and a lifelong love for learning.

Join us for an unforgettable adventure where every child can become a buzzing bee expert!
