Crazy catapults, slingin’ trebuchets, and rubber-band-powered cars – these are just some of the endless possibilities of engineering with popsicle sticks. In this session, children will learn to create and engineer working mechanisms using popsicle sticks, rubber bands, weights, and straws! These activities will provide a practical learning opportunity through real-life applications of concepts such as centripetal and gravitational forces, and the different types of energy.
